Alison brings something very special to a yoga class. It's just enough effort paired with the right amount of relaxation – but most importantly she always encourages us to make the practice "ours", to listen to our bodies, and to do what feels good on that day. That makes a true difference. Her warmth, attention, and care for her students is crystal clear.

Alison is a bright light of my day. Her stretch breaks are one of the best parts of coming to work. It makes a huge difference in my day.

My nurses often request shifts on the days that Alison will be in the hospital giving stretch breaks. Our whole team feels so good after she comes by - refreshed and poised to be the best nurses we can be.

Truly the best all-levels class I've ever taken. We had an age range of 9-75 in class and having all pose options equally celebrated was so refreshing. Alison has a real gift for welcoming people of all ages into her classes.

This is the perfect class for a first timer. Felt so comfortable and Alison actually explained everything while she was doing it. I would definitely recommend this class for anyone who is nervous about the idea of starting yoga.

Alison has been the perfect instructor for my needs – I am a novice yogi, having only taken a few classes at a local YMCA, and I'm 62 and starting to feel some aches and pains, especially in one of my hips. I wanted to start slow and work with someone who had experience working with older and less agile students.

Alison has the right combination of expertise and teaching skills.  She understands the body and how it moves and she understands how to be encouraging and challenging at the same time. Working with her one on one has allowed me to improve my form and knowledge of yoga significantly, and I now feel more confident about joining a group class, which I plan to do this month.  I also have far less joint pain, especially in the hip that was bothering me. Plus, she has taught me the stretches/poses that will help me when it starts to ache and I do them regularly on my own.  Even once I start taking group classes, I plan to keep my weekly lesson with Alison. My lessons with her are the best money I spend every week!

Working with Alison at my office has truly made a different in my personal and professional life.  Over the past three years, she has taught me exercises that I use throughout the workday to improve my mood, posture, and overall wellbeing. I look forward to working with Alison every week.

I reached out to Alison with a unique request – we wanted to hold a virtual wellness workshop for our team of employees, who are scattered across the entire country. Using Skype, she gave a wonderful presentation about mindfulness and movement in the workplace and followed it up by leading us through some “live” demonstrations of breathing techniques and stretches. She was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire process and our employees loved the workshop. It felt like a mini yoga session from the comfort of our own desks. Thanks for everything, Alison!
